The arena#

All PvP events take place on Vulcanus, one event at a time. The map has no warp: the event's command takes you there and the event sends you back to where you came from when it ends.

  • In the Crown, Vulcanus' opening and a Guild Throne of three guilds or more, hold Ctrl to hit another player (only a player of the other Gens you hit without it). In Team Fight and a Throne of two guilds the enemy shows red or blue and you hit them without Ctrl.
  • A kill in an event makes no player killer of you. You can't hit anyone from the safe zone round the gate, or into it.
  • If you die in an event, you come back at its gate and fight on.
  • Leaving the arena (a warp, a town portal) takes you out of the event.
  • Prizes go straight to you: jewels into your jewel bank, the rest into your bag. If it is full, they wait for you: make room and type /bptake.
  • Most prizes come once per account and UTC day for each event: a second character of the same account gets nothing more that day.

The server runs on UTC: in winter (UTC+2) 13:40 UTC is 15:40 in Chișinău. The event schedule counts the next ones down in your own time, and in the game O or /events shows them too.

The Crown#

A free-for-all fight for a ring in the middle of Vulcanus, every day at 13:40 and 19:40 UTC, 10 minutes long.

  1. When sign-up opens, 3 minutes before the start, a golden message tells everyone. Type /crown to go in; you can still join in the first 2 minutes of the fight.
  2. Fewer than 3 players at the start call it off.
  3. Score points, the most points wins:
WhatPoints
Standing in the ring (at 86, 159) alone3 a second
Standing in the ring with rivals in it1 a second
A kill5
A kill of the leader20

A kill of the same player again within 2 minutes gives nothing, nor does a kill of a character of your own account. Holding the ring alone is the way to win: the winner makes about 600 points, three quarters of them in the ring.

Prizes, each only from 150 points:

PlacePrize
1stBox of Kundun +3
2nd and 3rd3 Jewels of Bless, when 6 players or more took part
Everyone else1 Jewel of Bless

The day's winner may fight in the second Crown but scores nothing until the next UTC day.

"King of the Week": the player with the most Crown wins of the week (first place with the winner's prize) gets this title until the end of the next week; on a tie, the one who got there first. The weeks are those of the battle pass season, as in the Guild Week.

Team Fight#

Two teams of equal strength, every day at 18:40 UTC, 15 minutes at most.

  • Type /tdm from 5 minutes before the start. One character per account; fewer than 6 players call it off.
  • The server makes the teams, by Combat Power and class, so both sides are about as strong. They show as red and blue: you hit an enemy without Ctrl, and a ring under each fighter's feet says friend or foe.
  • Everyone has 20 lives. You start and come back at your team's gate.
  • A team with nobody left loses. When the time is up, more kills win, then more lives left, then more damage.
  • Killing a teammate costs no life, but the third one throws you out without a prize.
  • 60 seconds in the safe zone or off the arena take you out of the match; /tdm brings you back with the lives you had. Players who join late go to the smaller team, in the first 5 minutes.

Prizes, for everyone with a kill, an assist (a hit on the enemy within 15 seconds before a teammate killed them) or a quarter of the team's average damage:

WhoPrize
The winning teamBox of Kundun +3
The losing team2 Jewels of Bless and 1 Jewel of Soul
The best fighter (most kills)Box of Kundun +4, instead of the team's prize

"Gladiator of the Week": the fighter with the most Team Fight wins of the week (a win with the winners' prize) gets this title until the end of the next week; on a tie, the one who got there first. The weeks are those of the battle pass season, as in the Guild Week.

Guild Throne#

A battle of guilds for the throne, Saturday and Sunday at 19:10 UTC, 15 minutes.

  • Type /throne from 5 minutes before the start: guild members only, one character per account.
  • A guild needs 2 players at the start, and the match 2 guilds; the others are sent home.
  • The first two guilds start at their own gates; with exactly two they show as red and blue, as in Team Fight.
  • The throne is the ring at 86, 159. The guild with more living members on it than any other holds it and scores 1 point a second. A kill of another guild's member gives 1 point, of the leading guild's 2, but only if the victim had fought since it last died (hit another guild or stood on the throne).
  • To count for a prize, be on the field for 5 minutes (alive, off the safe zone) with some damage, a kill or time on the throne.

The match counts as fought when a guild other than the winner made 30 points with 2 such players. Then:

WhoPrize
The winning guild's masterBox of Kundun +4
The winning guild's other membersBox of Kundun +2
The winning guildthe gold title "Masters of the Throne" for 8 days, until the next winners
Everyone else1 Jewel of Bless

A match that wasn't fought gives everyone the Jewel of Bless only, and no title.

Vulcanus' opening and the Fire Lord#

Vulcanus has no timetable: the whole server fills its gauge of 800 sparks.

WhatSparks
A golden monster (Golden Invasion)1
A treasure goblin: Treasure, Jeweler, Armorer, Rainbow10, 15, 15, 50
A cleared Tier Map, tier 1 to 610, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50

Blue messages tell the server when the gauge is a quarter, half and three quarters full, and /vulcanus shows how full it is. A full gauge plans the opening at the next free time between 12:00 and 23:00 UTC, never during another PvP event, at most twice a day; a golden message says when, and /vulcanus and /events show it.

  1. 5 minutes before, a golden message opens the entrance: /vulcanus takes you in, from level 150 or a reset.
  2. 45 minutes of free PvP on Vulcanus, without player killers. Every monster killed there may drop an extra jewel for your party (1 %: Bless, Soul, Chaos, Life or, rarely, Creation).
  3. At minute 35 the Fire Lord comes near 153, 99 and the entrance closes. Its health is set by the strength of the players on the arena, so a small group can beat it as well as a big one; golden news of its health comes every 30 seconds.

Prizes at the kill, for those who hit it and are still on the arena:

WhoPrize
The party with the most damageBox of Kundun +4 each
Everyone else with 0.5 % of the damage or more1 Jewel of Bless

One box and one jewel per account and day. If the Fire Lord is still alive when the 45 minutes are over, it escapes and nobody gets a prize.

Guild Week#

A contest of guilds over each week of the battle pass season (the weeks count from the season's first day, 00:00 UTC). Guild members earn points for their guild:

WhatPointsAt most
A cleared Tier Map, tier 1 to 62, 3, 4, 6, 8, 103 a day
Nightmare in Kanturu101 a day
A treasure goblin36 a day
Blood Castle, Devil Square or Chaos Castle23 a day
The Crown's first place15
The winning team of Team Fight10
The Guild Throne won in a fought match30

The limits are per account and UTC day. For a kill or a game you need 2 % of the damage. Points count for the guild you were in when you earned them, and only while you stay in it.

At the end of the week the top 3 guilds get prizes. A guild is ranked with 4 active members (15 points or more each). In the first 3 guilds every active member with 3 % of the guild's points or more gets:

PlacePrize
1stBox of Kundun +4, and the title "Guild of the Week" until the next week ends
2ndBox of Kundun +3
3rdBox of Kundun +2

An account gets one prize a week, in its best-placed guild. A golden message names the top 3. /guildweek shows the time left, the top 5, your guild and your share.

World boss#

Not a PvP event and not on Vulcanus, but a boss for the whole server: every day at 16:45 UTC, 10 minutes.

  • Golden messages come 10 and 5 minutes before. The boss appears in Lorencia's field at 196, 124; just go there, no command or ticket needed.
  • Each day another Tier Maps boss comes, in turn: Gaion Kharein, Raymond, Erkanne, Destler, Vermont, Kato and Galia.
  • Its health grows with the players who fight it, by their Combat Power, so three players need about as long as a crowd.
  • If the boss kills you, you lose nothing: your experience and zen come back. Other monsters next to it cost as usual.
  • Lead it more than 8 steps from its place and it walks back.
  • If it is still alive after 10 minutes, it gets away and nobody gets a prize.

Prizes when it dies, for 150,000 damage or more. Your account's best character counts (the characters of one account don't add up), and each prize comes once per account and UTC day:

WhoPrize
Everyone with 150,000 damage3 Jewels of Bless and 3 Jewels of Soul, into your jewel bank
The most damageBox of Kundun +4 more
The last hitBox of Kundun +3 more

/worldboss shows its health, the time left and your damage, or when the next one comes.

The Rift#

Not a PvP event either, and no timetable: a rift can open wherever you hunt.

  • Every usual monster you kill has a chance, 1 in 600, to open a rift where it died. The maps and the rules are the treasure goblins': hunting maps only (no towns, event maps or Tier Maps), and the monster must be at least a quarter of your level.
  • A golden message tells your party. Three waves come out of the rift: 3, 4 and 3 monsters of the kind you killed, the first after 3 seconds, the next 3 seconds after the last one died. The last wave brings an elite, a stronger monster of the map with three times the health.
  • Rift monsters are a step stronger than the map's own and drop nothing themselves.
  • Only your party can close the rift: kill all three waves within 3 minutes. A party has one open rift at a time, a map at most three.
  • Closed in time, the last monster drops a chest with fireworks, and only your party can pick it up. Too slow, and the monsters go back and nothing drops.

The chest follows the map's group, the same groups as the treasure goblins':

GroupChest
11 jewel (Bless, Soul or Chaos), Box of Kundun +1 5 %
21 jewel (Bless, Soul or Chaos), Box of Kundun +2 10 %
31 jewel (Bless, Soul, Chaos or Life), Box of Kundun +3 10 %, Jewel of Creation 3 %
41 jewel (Bless, Soul, Chaos or Life), Box of Kundun +4 10 %, Jewel of Creation 5 %, Jewel of Guardian 1 %

An account gets 10 chests a UTC day; after the tenth, your kills open no rift until the next day.

Ranked duels#

Not on Vulcanus and no timetable: the game's own duel, one against one, whenever two players want. Ask with /duelstart <name>; the other one accepts, and both go to a duel room. /duelend stops it.

  • A rating, per account and battle pass season: everyone starts at 10, a win gives +2, a loss −2. At 0 your ranked duels are over until the next season. /duelrank shows your rating and the top 5.
  • Only fair duels count. When the weaker one's Combat Power is below 70 % of the stronger one's, the duel doesn't start: the request or the accept is refused with a line that says why. Putting on better gear during the countdown or the fight stops the duel the same way (the highest CP you had counts, so taking gear off doesn't help); a stopped duel gives no rating and the bets go back.
  • At the countdown both of you see whether the duel is ranked. The same two accounts can have 2 ranked duels a UTC day; after that their duels change no rating (a bet still pays).
  • Who wins: a duel stopped before the first point counts for nothing. After it, whoever leaves the game or the duel room alive, or stops the duel, loses; otherwise the one ahead at the end wins. A tie counts for nothing.

Bets. Before the duel both type the same /duelbet <count> <jewel>, for example /duelbet 10 bless: 5 to 1,000 jewels of one kind from your jewel bank (bless, soul, chaos, life, creation, guardian, harmony, gemstone, lower or higher refine stone). An offer waits 3 minutes for the duel; /duelbet off takes it back.

What happensYour jewels
The countdown startsBoth stakes leave the jewel banks and are held by the server
Somebody winsThe winner gets both stakes less 10 % (rounded), into the jewel bank
A tie, a stop before the first point, a duel stopped for the 70 % ruleBoth stakes go back

A bet needs the jewels in the bank at the countdown and no trade or NPC window open. If the jewels can't go into the bank right away, they wait for you: type /bptake.

Battle pass quests#

The PvP events count for the battle pass daily quests:

  • "Take part in 2 PvP events" (medium): the Crown, Team Fight, Vulcanus or the Guild Throne. Taking part means doing something in it: points in the Crown, a kill, an assist or damage in a fight, time on the throne, fighting on Vulcanus.
  • "Win a PvP event" (hard): the top 3 of the Crown (only the first with fewer than 6 players), the winning team of Team Fight, the winning guild of a fought Guild Throne, or the top party at the Fire Lord. A second win of the day counts too, even without a prize.
  • They also count for the "events" quests, together with Blood Castle, Devil Square and Chaos Castle.
  • "Help kill the world boss" (medium): 150,000 damage to the world boss when it dies, as for its prize. The world boss counts for the "events" and "bosses" quests too.
  • "Close 2 rifts" (medium): two rifts closed in time. A rift counts for every member of the party on the map who hit one of its monsters (yourself, your raven or your summon): standing by is not enough. It counts for the "events" quests too.
  • "Play 2 ranked duels with different players" (medium) and "Win a ranked duel" (hard): ranked duels that count for the rating, with a winner. A ranked duel also counts for the "events" quests. Only your first ranked duel of the UTC day against the same player counts for any of these quests, so two players can't fill them by dueling each other; the rating still changes.

The Guild Week has no quest of its own.
