Combat Power (CP) is one number for how strong a character is. It decides which Tier Maps a party may enter: the party's average has to reach the tier's mark, and every member at least 70 % of it. A party of 2 needs 15 % more, a single player 30 % more. Combat Power doesn't count vitality, so the Tier Maps also ask every member for a minimum of HP (see Tier Maps). For the Tier Maps' entry a Dark Knight's and an Elf's Combat Power counts ×1.1, a Dark Wizard's and a Dark Lord's ×0.9 (the class factor); everywhere else it counts as it is. The site's Rankings list the strongest characters by Combat Power.

Type /cp in the game, or open the advanced stats tab of the character window (C, the fourth button at the bottom).

Every item you can wear shows in its tooltip what it adds, under the class line: Combat Power: 1,250. An ancient piece also shows what its set adds when more pieces are worn. A broken item (durability 0) counts nothing until it is repaired, and its tooltip says so in red. Items that add nothing (Guardian Angel, Imp, Uniria, the Dark Raven) show no Combat Power line.

Under it, If equipped: +890 in green or If equipped: -1,170 in red shows how your Combat Power would change if you put the item on instead of what you wear now. It counts the whole swap: a set piece gained or lost, the whole-set bonus, Power of the Ancients, and a two-handed weapon taking the place of both hands. A ring, or a one-handed weapon your class can hold in either hand, is counted in the slot where it gives you more. Items you already wear, and items your class can't wear, show no such line.

How it is counted#

CP = stats + items + ancient + wings + pets. Only equipped items count, and only while they have durability left.

Stats#

Your base strength, agility, vitality, energy and command (without what items add), divided by 5. A whole ancient set at +14 raises this part by 5 %, at +15 by 10 % (Ancient +14 and +15).

What raises it most#

  • Item levels from +10 up are worth the most per step: +12 → +13 alone is 210 points per item.
  • A whole ancient set with Power of the Ancients adds thousands at once, a high-tier set even more.
  • 3rd wings are 4,000 before their level.
  • Stats count too, but only a fifth: the 500 points of a first reset are 100 CP.

The marks of the Tier Maps: tier 1 at 10,000, tier 2 at 13,000, tier 3 at 15,000, tier 4 at 20,000, tier 5 at 25,000 and tier 6 at 32,000, counted with the class factor.

The ranking#

Rankings on this site shows the top 100 characters by Combat Power; the home page shows the top 10.

  • The game writes a character's CP down once a minute while it is in the game, the same number /cp shows.
  • A character that logs out keeps the CP it last had in the game until it plays again.
  • With equal CP, the character that reached it first stands higher.
  • Game masters aren't ranked.
