MU Helper
The built-in auto-hunt: free here, how to set it up, what it does each moment, and why it might stand still.
The MU Helper is part of the game client: it fights, buffs, drinks potions and picks up items for you while the game is open. On this server it costs nothing and has fixes that keep it fighting.
Setting it up#
Press Z and set:
- Hunting range: how far from where you started it looks for monsters.
- Skills: the attack skill, a second one with a delay or a condition, and buffs to keep up (the elf's buffs also go on party members).
- Potions: when to drink healing potions; the same switch also drinks mana potions when mana runs low.
- Pickup: all items, or only zen, jewels, excellent items, ancient items and the names you add.
Then stand on your spot and press Home.
What it does#
Four times a second it runs a round: it calls your pet, renews buffs, drinks potions, picks up what you chose, walks back to its spot, attacks and repairs. Between rounds it keeps attacking at your full attack speed, so it hits as fast as you do by hand.
- With no pickup switched on it stays where you started and fights what it can reach. If nothing is in reach for a second, it goes for the nearest monster inside the hunting range.
- With a pickup switched on it walks to monsters and drops inside the hunting range, then comes back.
- It keeps working with the game window minimized.
When it doesn't do what you expect#
- A buff or heal it can't cast is skipped. If a skill needs more energy, mana or AG than you have, the helper passes over it and goes on fighting instead of standing still. The chat says why, once per run (for example "MU Helper: Power Slash needs 100 energy, you have 80. Attacking with plain hits.").
- An attack skill it can't cast is replaced with plain hits, even if you didn't tick that option.
- Mana: at 30 % mana, or right after a skill lacked mana, it drinks one mana potion per round, after any healing potion it needs.
- It won't start in a safe zone. Step out of town first.
- A walk that gets stuck (into a wall, say) is stopped after about a second, and a monster it can't reach is left alone for 2 seconds.
